Barcelona has renewed its commercial agreement with the sportswear brand Puma, extending the partnership for another five years.
The agreement, which was signed in June 2019, was initially set to run until 2024 but has now been extended by one more year, making it effective from July 1, 2024.
Under the terms of the new deal, Barcelona will continue to wear Puma gear on and off the pitch, including their home and away kits, training shirts, shorts, socks, and other apparel.
"This is a great opportunity for us to continue our collaboration with Puma and to showcase our identity through the iconic Puma logo," said Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona.
"We are committed to working together to create even greater success for both parties."
Puma has been a long-time partner of Barcelona, having first signed a sponsorship deal with the club in 2007. The company's logo can be seen on the jerseys of the team's players, as well as on various merchandise sold at the club's official store.
In addition to football, Puma also sponsors several other sports teams, including the New York Yankees and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Overall, the renewal of the commercial agreement between FC Barcelona and Puma is a positive development for both parties, and it is expected that this collaboration will continue to bring success to both Barcelona and Puma in the coming years.
